HUD-VASH Vouchers
HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing combines Housing Choice Voucher rental assistance with VA supportive services for veterans experiencing homelessness. Each veteran is paired with a VA case manager who helps with the housing search, health care, and the ongoing support needed to stay housed.
Rapid Rehousing for Veterans
Short-term financial assistance and housing services to quickly move veterans from homelessness into permanent housing, with case management support. Assistance can include help with rent, deposits, utilities, and connecting to the VA benefits you have earned.
VA Supportive Services
The VA Salem HUD-VASH program and Veterans & Family Support program provide case management, health services, and housing assistance. Staff also help veterans access earned benefits, mental health and substance use care, and employment resources.
GPD Transitional Housing
Grant and Per Diem transitional housing programs offer a bridge from homelessness to permanent housing with structured support. Programs often include life skills, employment assistance, and help securing a stable, permanent home.
